Join the Levi Lab
The Levi Lab is being established at Tel-Hai University (Kiryat Shmona). We welcome motivated students and researchers interested in fungal resistance mechanisms, genome-scale CRISPRi screening, and antifungal discovery including plant-derived compounds.
MSc students
- Antifungal phenotyping and quantitative growth assays
- Plant extract screening and bioactivity-guided fractionation
- Genetic validation of candidate pathways
Location: Tel-Hai University, Kiryat Shmona
PhD students
- Genome-scale CRISPRi screens (design, execution, analysis)
- Mechanistic follow-up and multi-omics integration
- Drug or compound mode-of-action discovery
Preferred: experience in molecular biology, microbiology, or computational analysis
Postdoctoral fellows
- Lead projects on antifungal resistance and stress regulation
- Build interdisciplinary pipelines (genetics, omics, chemistry)
- Mentor students and contribute to grant writing
Funding dependent; strong publication record expected
Research collaborations
- Clinical and agricultural fungal pathogens
- Compound discovery and mechanism-of-action
- CRISPRi screens and multi-omics
We are open to academic and industry collaborations
What to send
- Short CV (PDF)
- Brief statement of interest (3-8 sentences)
